1、The drill bits should be packed in a special box to avoid vibrations from colliding with each other.
2、When the drill bit is used, it should be installed in the collet chuck of the spindle or the tool magazine for automatic drill bit change after taking it out of the box. Put it back in the box after use.
3、To measure the diameter of the drill bit, a non-contact measuring instrument such as a tool microscope should be used to prevent the cutting edge from being damaged by contact with the mechanical measuring instrument.
4、Whether the main control drilling machine uses the positioning ring, if the positioning ring is used, the depth positioning must be accurate during installation. If the positioning ring is not used, the elongation of the drill bit installed on the spindle should be adjusted to the same extent, and the multi-spindle drilling machine should pay more attention to this.
5、Usually, a 40x stereo microscope can be used to check the wear of the cutting edge of the drill.
6、The concentricity of the spindle and the collet and the clamping force of the collet should be checked frequently. Poor concentricity will cause small-diameter drills to break and large hole diameters. The speed does not match, and the chuck and the drill slip.
7、The clamping length of the fixed shank bit on the spring chuck is 4 to 5 times the diameter of the drill shank to be firmly clamped.
8、Under the guidance of professionals, the drill bit can be reground in time, which can increase the use and regrinding times of the drill bit, prolong the life of the drill bit, and reduce production costs and expenses.
